Events and tabling
We've reserved a total of 17 Saturdays of the Farmer's Market starting June 7 at a cost of $230. Mike will loan Greens a canopy and table for the Farmer's Market. Joe has the Prairie table. Joe or Mike can lend a plastic tub for materials. Approved $500 for County Fair outside booth. ($400 fee, $100 liability insurance).
Merchandise and mailings
Approved $400 for Prairie Greens brochure. Pat Pasquini is helping with graphic design. Susan needs pictures of Prairie activities. Approved using GPUS logo on the brochure and other materials. Approved $250 for ILGP / McKinney / other presidential merchandise (T-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.) What about lightbulbs? Someone will look into bulk purchasing. Approved $20 for thank you cards.
Campaigning
Get yard signs (especially Mike and Walter). Joe and Kostas still have last year's. Joe and Mike will plan a joint fundraising event. Prairie will do fundraising mailing. Susan will help coordinate a big fundraising event in August.
Platform
Develop a summary suitable for a Farmer's Market pamphlet. Also develop the summary into a more complete platform for later in the campaign. Tom will re-send the suggestions from the Green Tea to start the platform discussion.
