Newsletter
The deadline for submissions for the newsletter is April 10th.
Joe Futrelle will submit his entries to Susan Rodgers, and Kostas offered to help with formatting the newsletter and compiling the information.
At the next Prairiegreens meeting, we'll stuff and stamp envelopes, and approve any financial reimbursements.
Farmers Market
The Farmers Market begins May 12th. Our application is due soon, and we need to decide how much of a presence we want to make at this weekly event.
Tracy and Susan have committed to attending every other week.
We need a new tent, a plastic bin, and a table. Kostas will look into finding a durable tent and compare costs.
We'll approve this at the next meeting.

A Prairiegreens chair is needed, and we plan to discuss electing one in May. This may require changes in the by-laws. We will make plans soon for a potluck dinner to discuss these long-overdue changes. We also need to discuss a platform for our local.
A proposal to pay the Independent Media Center quarterly for use of the space was made.
Joe Futrelle expressed interest in supporting a local group that is looking into more environmentally friendly internment practices. Joe will bring the information to the next meeting.
Finally, we discussed plans for a social at Meadowbrook park that will possibly take place in early May. The date will be decided at the next meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30pm.
