Monthly Meeting

The Prairie Greens meet as a group on the first Monday of each month. 

Please put us on your calendar for the next meeting, at 7:30 p.m. in the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, which is located in the old downtown Urbana post office at 202 South Broadway. Use the Elm Street entrance to the basement where you will see the UC IMC sign.

Green Tea * Teach-In

On the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Urbana Free Library we meet to discuss readings pertaining to the Green movement, hear speakers on current issues, and/or follow up on business from the monthly meeting.

Find out why the Green movement, popular in Europe and spreading in the U.S., is different from American politics as you've known it, either on the Left or the Right. Our informal discussions explore essays, fiction, spiritual/economic writings, and local issues.
